Jalanayana Farmer Producer Company Limited is based out of H.No. 35/E on Nanded Road. We are in Badalgaon, which is in the Aurad area. We are a company formed by farmers, for farmers. It’s a pretty simple setup. We don’t have a big staff of professionals. It’s mostly just us working out of this house on Nanded Road. We deal with all sorts of things related to farming in our local area. Some days it’s about seeds, other days it’s about how to get our crops to the market without losing money. The road can get quite busy, but it’s a good spot for us. We don't have a mission statement or any of that corporate talk. We just want to help each other out and make sure the farming stays sustainable. It’s hard work and there aren't many shortcuts. We spend a lot of time just talking to the neighbors and the other farmers in Badalgaon. We aren't trying to be some massive corporation. We just want to be a solid group that people can rely on here in Aurad. The office is plain and we like it that way. We don’t need anything fancy to get the work done. We just take it one day at a time and deal with whatever the season throws at us. Sometimes the power goes out or the rain doesn't come, but we keep the office open.
