Our group is the B V Patil Somnathhalli Farmers Producer Company Limited. We are located out at Sy No 35 in Chigaralli. That is in the Jewargi taluk, which is part of the Kalaburagi district. This area is mostly rural and that is exactly where we need to be. We are a bunch of farmers who came together to form this company. We work right out of the fields and a small building we have on the survey land. There are no fancy signs or big glass windows here. It is just a practical place for us to meet and talk about our crops and how to handle things together. Being in Kalaburagi, it gets pretty hot sometimes, but we are used to that. We spend our days checking on the progress of what we are growing. The address 585310 is where most of our members are from. We don't really do the whole corporate thing. It’s a quiet village where everyone knows everyone else. We started this because we wanted a way to manage our work better as a group. It isn't always easy and some days are harder than others, but we keep at it. It’s honest work and we are proud to be doing it right here in Jewargi.
