Madana Farmers Producer Company Limited

Madana Farmers Producer is based in the Erkal Area of Narayanpur. Our address is H. No 23/19 in Gurmitkal, which is out in the Gulbarga region. It’s a very dry and hot place for most of the year, so our office is built to stay as cool as possible with thick walls. We don't have much in the way of decoration, just some calendars on the wall and a few chairs for the farmers when they come in to talk. The Erkal area is mostly residential and small businesses, so it feels very local. We handle a lot of the paperwork for the producer group right here on a wooden table. Narayanpur is a place where everyone knows each other, so we often have people sticking their heads in just to say hello or ask about the rain. We keep the documents in metal trunks to protect them from the dust and the heat. Gulbarga is a tough place for farming sometimes, so there is always a lot to discuss regarding the soil and the water. We usually close up for a bit in the afternoon when the sun is at its peak and then come back later. It’s a basic setup, but it works for what we need to do for the farmers in this community. There’s a small porch out front where we sit sometimes to get a bit of air when the breeze finally picks up.
