Jewargi Taluka Millets Farmers Producer Company Limited

We are located at E 24, right near the bazar in Nelogi. It is a busy little area, especially on market days. Our group focus is mainly on millets because that is what grows well in our part of Jewargi Taluka. We are just a bunch of local farmers who wanted to see if we could do better by working as a team. The office is right where all the action is, so people are always dropping by with news or questions. We do not have a polished way of doing things. Usually, we just sit around a table and discuss what is happening with the crops. Some days are good and some days the prices are just not where they need to be. We try to help each other out with the sorting and the selling. It is much better than trying to fight the market by yourself. We are not experts in business, but we know our grains. The bazar is a good place for us to keep an eye on things. We keep the doors open so anyone from the village can come in and chat. It is a community effort more than anything else. We hope to keep the tradition of millet farming alive and well around here. It takes a lot of sweat and patience, but we are used to that. We just do the best we can with what we have.
