Siwan Farmers Producer Company Limited

Our office is at house number 140 in Sector 19/1 which is quite close to the Shiv Mandir in the Huda area of Kaithal. It is a pretty easy place to find if you know where the temple is located. We are a producer company made up of local farmers from around the Siwan and Kaithal region. Most of us grew up on these lands and know the dirt here better than anything else. We decided to come together as a group to handle our produce and see if we could make things work better for everyone involved. It is not some big corporate headquarters with a lobby and a receptionist. Usually you will just find one or two of us sitting there talking about the current rates for crops or complaining about the rain. We handle things for the group and try to make sure everyone gets a fair shake when it comes time to move the harvest. The room is simple with a couple of chairs and some files stacked up in the corner. People from the village often stop by while they are out running errands or going to the temple. It is just a way for us farmers to have a central spot to meet and manage the business side of our farms without having to go all the way into the main city. It keeps us connected to the ground and to each other throughout the seasons.
