Rayalaseema College Of Physical Education

We are out in Khadarabad, in the Kadapa district. There is a lot of open land around us, which is exactly what we need for a physical education college. Most of our day is spent outdoors on the tracks or the various playing fields. We start early, usually before the sun gets too strong over Andhra Pradesh. By the time most people are having breakfast, our students are already finished with their first round of drills. The buildings we have are very basic. They are just places for lectures and storing sports equipment like hurdles, balls, and mats. It is a dusty place, especially when the wind picks up across the plains of 516362. The students live in the hostels on site, so we are like a small village of athletes. We eat together in a large hall and the food is simple but filling. We do not have any of those expensive machines you see in city gyms. We rely on old-fashioned training and hard work. The whistles blowing and the sound of people running are the main noises you hear all day. We have been training people to become physical education teachers for a long time now. It is a good life if you like being active and staying outside. We do not bother with fancy advertisements. People know who we are by the quality of the coaches we produce. It is just an honest place for sport and study for all our students.
