Govt College Men (A)

This college has been a fixture in the middle of Kadapa for as long as most can remember. We are located right beside the Collector Office, so finding us is never an issue for anyone in the city. It’s a busy spot with lots of noise from the main road. Every morning, the gates are crowded with young men who travel in from the surrounding villages. Our buildings follow that old government style, featuring high ceilings and ceiling fans that have probably been spinning for decades. We have different sections for arts and science subjects. The afternoons get very hot here, though the trees in the courtyard offer a bit of relief for anyone sitting outside. Because of the city traffic, it’s rarely a quiet place to be. Many of our staff members have worked here for years and are quite settled in their routines. We see students coming in with all sorts of plans for their future, and our job is mostly to help them get through their exams. Since it’s a government run institution, things tend to move at their own pace. Sometimes the paperwork for admissions or exams can take a while to process. We don't have any flashy equipment, just the basic labs and classrooms that get the job done. During breaks, you’ll find students chatting on the stone benches about local news. It’s a simple, straightforward life here in Kadapa. We’ve seen the city change a lot over the years.
