Rayala Seema College Of Physical Education

Rayala Seema College of Physical Education is located on Mydukur Road in Proddatur. Being a physical education college, things are a bit different here than at a regular school. We have a large ground where the students spend most of their time. You’ll see them out there early in the morning before the Andhra Pradesh sun gets too hot. They’re usually in their tracksuits, running laps or practicing various sports. The main building on Mydukur Road is where the theory classes happen. It’s a plain structure, nothing too fancy. The classrooms have big posters of different sports and anatomy diagrams on the walls. It’s a noisy place, with whistles blowing and people shouting instructions across the field. The students are mostly young men and women who are very active and into fitness. We have some basic equipment for gym work and different sports. The office is usually cluttered with sports gear and paperwork. Proddatur is a warm place, so there’s a lot of water being drunk and everyone tries to find shade when they aren’t on the field. The staff here are mostly former athletes themselves. We don't spend much time on fancy speeches; we just get out there and do the work. It’s a place for people who like to stay moving and want to make a career out of it.
