United Forwarders

United Forwarders is located at Office No. 2 B on the first floor. We are at Plot No. 113-114 in Sector 8. It’s a simple setup we have here. Being a forwarder means we are the middle people for a lot of shipments. We spend our time coordinating between different parties. It's a lot of coordination and making sure no one forgets a document. The office is usually a bit cluttered with folders and maps. We like it that way because it shows we are working. Sector 8 in Gandhidham is full of offices like ours, so there’s a sense of being part of a larger community of logistics people. We don't have a receptionist or anything; if the bell rings, whoever is closest to the door gets it. Most of our work is done over the phone or email, but we still have people dropping by to check on their cargo. We’ve been at this for a while and we know the rhythms of the port. It’s not a fancy life, but it’s steady. We try to keep things straightforward and don't use any big words to describe what we do. We just move freight and deal with the daily issues that pop up. Sometimes the monsoon makes things difficult, and other times it's the heat, but we just keep the office open and do the work that is required of us every single day.
