You can find our office at number 203 in the Chandra Moli Complex on Baroi Road in Mundra. Since we are in the Kachchh region, everything here revolves around the port and moving goods. Logistics is a lot of paperwork and even more phone calls to drivers and warehouse managers. We spend most of our day sitting at our desks looking at schedules and trying to figure out where a specific container is. Baroi Road is always busy with big trucks, so there is a lot of noise and dust coming in from outside. Our office is pretty simple, just a few desks, some filing cabinets for all the transport documents, and a tea kettle that stays busy. We’ve been operating out of this complex for some time now. It’s not an easy job because things are always changing, like a truck breaking down or a ship being delayed, and we have to figure out a new plan on the fly. We don’t have any fancy software to do the work for us, it is mostly just us keeping track of everything in our ledgers and on the computer. It’s a lot of coordination and making sure everyone knows where they are supposed to be. Mundra is a tough place to work, but we are used to the pace by now and we just keep pushing through the daily workload to get things done.
