Halar Maritime Agencies is located in New Kandla, right in Kachchh. You can find us at Room No. 2 in Seva Sadan-2. Working in a port town like this means the maritime business is always moving. We’ve been set up in this room for some time now. It’s a simple office, nothing too big or flashy. Mostly, we handle the agency side of things for ships coming through. The weather here can get quite hot, and the salt air is everywhere. We spend our days dealing with the docks and the paperwork that comes with maritime trade. It’s a lot of waiting for ships and then a lot of rushing once they arrive. Kandla is a busy place, and being in Seva Sadan-2 puts us right where the action is. We aren't a big corporation, just a local agency doing the daily work. Sometimes the phones don't stop ringing and other times it’s quiet enough to actually get through the files on the desk. We know the area well and we know how the port operates. It’s honest work. Most of the people around here are in the same business, so it’s a tight community. We just focus on getting the tasks done for the day and making sure the ships are taken care of properly. It’s what we do here in Room No. 2. It isn't always easy, but we’ve got a good routine going now. We just stay at it and handle the boats as they come into the harbor.
