You can find us in the New Market area, right near Kandla Port. Being this close to the port means everything is about timing. Afreen’S Services is basically us helping out with whatever needs doing around the docks and the market area. It’s a busy spot with a lot of people moving around. Our office is simple, just some desks and a lot of logbooks stacked up. We deal with people from all over who come in with the ships. It’s not a corporate environment at all. It’s more about knowing the right people and getting things sorted out. Sometimes we’re helping with paperwork, sometimes it’s more hands-on with the cargo. The weather out here can be really hot and humid because of the sea. We drink a lot of tea and keep the fans on high all day. The market is always loud with people shouting and trucks backing up. It’s a good place to work if you like being where the action is. We don’t have a big mission statement or anything like that. We just provide services to the people who need them at the port. We’ve been here long enough that we know how the whole port operation works. It’s a lot of long hours, especially when a big ship comes in. We just take it one day at a time and try to be helpful to the captains and crews who pass through here.
