Vrinda International

Vrinda International operates out of 4215/1A on Ansari Road in Daryaganj. Daryaganj is a busy part of town, always crowded with people and traffic, and we are right in the thick of it. We do international trade, which sounds a bit more glamorous than it actually feels when you’re looking at piles of shipping documents and customs forms all day. Our office is tucked away in one of those old buildings that has a lot of character but maybe not enough electrical outlets. We spend a lot of time on the computer checking where shipments are and talking to people in different time zones. It means some of us are here late or arrive very early depending on who we need to call. We deal with all sorts of goods, moving them from one place to another. It’s a lot of logistics and making sure the labels are correct. Sometimes things get stuck at the port and we have to spend the whole day on the phone trying to clear it up. It’s not always smooth, but that’s the nature of trading. We aren't a massive corporation, just a dedicated group of people working out of Ansari Road. We’ve got a routine down now, and we just keep moving forward, one shipment at a time. The tea stall downstairs sees a lot of us when we need a break from the paperwork.
