Vifor India Pvt. Ltd. Our main work happens at the Kandla Plant, which is located at 55/56 in Sector-II of the Kandla Free Trade Zone. Working inside a Free Trade Zone is a bit different because of all the security gates and the customs rules we have to follow every day. The plant is a large industrial space where we handle manufacturing. It’s often very windy here because we are close to the coast, and you can smell the salt in the air sometimes. Inside the plant, it’s all about the machines and the production lines. We wear uniforms and follow strict safety steps, which can be a bit tiring when it’s hot outside. The office part is just a few small rooms attached to the main factory floor. We have some basic desks and a lot of logbooks to track everything that comes in and goes out. It’s a noisy place with the sound of engines and crates being moved around by forklifts. We don't have much in the way of decoration, just some safety posters on the walls. Most of us live nearby and commute in early to beat the shifts. It’s a practical environment focused on getting the products made and shipped out through the port. We don't spend much time on fancy talk; we just focus on the quotas and the quality of the batches we are running. It is a busy place to spend your day.
