K. K. Impex

K. K. Impex is located over by Golconda Fort, specifically at 9-11-416/1/A. Being so close to the fort means there are always tourists and a lot of activity in the streets nearby. Our office is a simple place where we handle all the details for our import and export work. It is not one of those modern glass buildings you see in the newer parts of the city. Instead, it’s a solid old building that stays relatively cool even when the Hyderabad sun is beating down outside. We spend most of our time on the phone or looking over shipping documents. Sometimes the internet is slow, and we have to wait for pages to load, which gives us time to have some chai and talk. It can get pretty cramped with all the files and folders piled up on the desks. We’ve thought about moving to a bigger place, but we like being in this neighborhood. The local shops and the familiar faces make it feel like home. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there. We just want to do our work properly and make sure the goods get to where they need to go without too much trouble. It is a lot of back and forth with different people, but that’s just how the trade goes. We keep it simple and just keep working through the pile of tasks every day until it is time to close.
