St. Henry International School

We are located out in Sonamukhi Nagar, near Sanagariya Phanta here in Jodhpur. It is a bit away from the main city noise, which is nice for everyone. St. Henry International School has been sitting on this plot for a while now. The wind blows quite a bit across the open ground near Sangaria, bringing in dust sometimes. Inside, we have the usual setup. There are hallways that get very noisy during break time and quiet during lessons. We have a staff room where we drink tea and talk about the kids. Sometimes the printers jam or we run out of chalk, just regular school stuff that happens everywhere. Jodhpur heat is no joke, so we have fans going all the time to keep the rooms decent. The kids come from all over the nearby colonies. We have some trees planted out front, trying to get some shade, but they grow quite slow in this soil. It’s not a huge place, but we make use of every corner we have. We have a small area for sports where the kids play football or just run around. The parents around here are mostly working people who want their kids to learn. We handle the paperwork, the uniforms, and the daily schedule. It’s a lot of routine. Every morning starts with the assembly and every afternoon ends with a rush for the school gate. We just try to keep things running smoothly without too much fuss. It’s a simple life here at the school. We just do our daily work.
