Srm Steel Industries

Srm Steel Industries is located at Plot No.-7 in the Nakoda Industrial Estate, which is part of Basni Phase-Ii. It is a dusty area, as you would expect for a place where steel is the main focus. We spend a lot of our time out on the floor or in the small office area we have set up. It’s a loud environment with the sound of metal and machinery always in the background. We don't put on airs here. We wear our work clothes and get our hands dirty. The yard is usually full of raw materials or finished products waiting to be loaded onto trucks. Managing the inventory is probably the hardest part, especially when several orders come in at once. We’ve been at this location for a good while, so we know the local transporters and the other businesses around the estate. It is a tough job sometimes, especially when the heat is high, but we just get on with it. We don't have a big fancy website or anything. People usually find us because they need steel work done and they know we are here. We just try to be accurate with the specs and get the loads out on time. It is basic, honest work. Most of us have been here since the early days and we know the machines like the back of our hands. We just keep our heads down and work.
