Apex Steels

This location is in the industrial part of town, Basni Mia, 2nd Phase. We are at C 84 (A). Since it’s a steel business, it’s not the cleanest place you’ll ever visit. There is a lot of dust and the sound of metal being moved around. We have trucks coming in and out quite a bit to drop off or pick up stuff. The office part is just a small corner where we keep the logs and do the billing. It gets pretty hot during the summer months, and the warehouse doesn't stay cool for long. We’ve been operating out of Basni for a long time. Most of the guys here have been working with steel for years. It’s heavy work and it’s loud. You get used to the clanging of the bars and sheets after a few days. We don't have a fancy lobby or a receptionist. If someone comes by, they usually just walk straight into the yard. We handle the inventory and make sure everything is where it should be. The neighbors are all industrial shops too, so it’s a noisy area overall. We start early in the morning before the sun gets too high and stay until the last load is ready. It’s just basic manual work and management of the steel stock we have on hand. No frills at all here. We just get the metal onto the trucks and handle the paperwork as it comes in.
