Shree Ram Masala

Our place, Shree Ram Masala, is situated out in the Boranada Industrial Area. If you know the area, we are right near the Madra Agro factory in Phase 3rd. It’s a dusty part of the world, especially when the wind picks up across the industrial plots. We spend most of our time inside the unit working with the grinders and packing the masala. The machines make a lot of noise, so you have to shout a bit to be heard. We don't have a big marketing department or anything. It's just us and the machines. We get the raw spices in big sacks and spend the day processing them. It's hard work and the air is always thick with the smell of ground cumin and coriander. Sometimes the dust gets on everything, so cleaning is a never-ending job. We’ve been in this spot for a while now and have seen the industrial area grow. There are more factories now than when we started. We just stick to our corner and do what needs doing. We don't try to be anything we aren't. It’s a local business run by people who live nearby. We hope to just keep going as we are, making sure the masala is packed right and sent out on time. The road out here isn't the best, but the trucks find us eventually. We just keep our heads down and work until the job is done for the day.
