Our office, Shivaaz Developer LLP, is over in Jodhpur at M-9 Kasturi Plaza. It’s right by the Main Bombay Motor Circle on Chopasani Road. This part of Jodhpur is always loud and full of traffic, which is something we’ve just gotten used to over the years. We don’t have a fancy corporate office with glass walls or anything. It’s a plain room where we do our planning and handle the paperwork for our development projects. We spend a lot of time out in the sun, checking on the sites and talking to the labor. The heat in Jodhpur can be pretty intense, so we drink a lot of water and try to stay in the shade when we can. We don’t go in for any of that marketing talk or big promises. We just focus on building things and making sure the work gets done properly. Most of our days are spent dealing with the usual construction problems like late deliveries or machinery breaking down. It’s not a glamorous life, but we like being in the middle of all the action on Chopasani Road. We are just a local business trying to do our part in the city. We keep things simple and try to be honest with everyone we work with. It is a lot of hard work, but we are used to the grind by now.
