Pushpanjali Emporium

Pushpanjali Emporium is located over on 9th A Pal Road in Sardarpura. If you find the Khadhi Bhandar, we are directly opposite that. It’s a good landmark because everyone knows it. Our shop has been here a while and it’s full of all sorts of things. We have piles of fabrics and handicrafts tucked into every corner. It’s not the most organized place in the world, if I’m being truthful. Sometimes it takes me a minute to find exactly what a customer is asking for under all the stacks. The street outside can get quite narrow with all the scooters parked everywhere. Mornings are usually the quietest time. I usually open up, sweep the front a bit, and have a glass of tea from the stall down the lane. In the evenings, the lights on Pal Road come on and it feels a bit more lively. We get a lot of locals coming in who just want to see what’s new or grab something for a gift. It’s just me and a couple of others helping out most days. We don't have a big corporate setup or anything like that. It’s just a small business trying to keep things moving. The ceiling fan makes a bit of a clicking sound that I keep meaning to fix, but you stop noticing it after an hour or so of working. It's a bit dusty, but it’s home for most of the day for us.
