You can find us over at Plot No.110/16 in Budh Nagar, which is part of the Tilwadiya area in Jodhpur. Navodiyam Producer Company Limited is our way of staying connected to the land even while being closer to the city. We’re a mix of people who have been farming in the Jodhpur region for as long as we can remember. We didn't want to lose that connection, so we formed this group. It’s not a polished business with a receptionist or anything like that. Usually, it’s just one of us sitting at a desk with a fan blowing, trying to keep up with the logs. We handle a bit of everything, from seeds to getting the crops to the right places. Being in Jodhpur gives us a bit more access to things, but our hearts are still in the fields. We don't spend money on fancy brochures because that's money that could go back to the farmers. It gets hot here, really hot, and that dictates how we work. We’re just trying to make a decent living and keep the agricultural side of Jodhpur strong. It’s not always pretty, and sometimes the meetings go on way too long because everyone has an opinion. But that’s how a real community works. We’re just plain people doing plain work. It keeps us busy and keeps the food on the table for our families.
