Bharat Seed House

If you are in Paota you might have seen Bharat Seed House. We have been here for quite some time now and it is a place where we deal with all kinds of seeds for farming and gardens. Paota is a very busy area with a lot of traffic and people moving about which keeps things interesting. The shop is usually filled with the scent of dried grains and earthy bags of seeds stacked up to the ceiling. We spend our time talking to farmers about what they are planting this season and what the weather is looking like. It is a simple business based on the cycles of the year. We do not have any high-tech displays or fancy lighting. It is just a traditional shop with wooden counters and old scales. Every morning we sweep the front and set out some samples for people to see. It can get very hot in the afternoons but the shop stays relatively cool because of how it is built. We have regulars who have been coming to us for decades and we know their families and their land. We do not try to be anything other than a reliable seed house.
