We are located right off the By Pass Road at 5/1. It’s a convenient spot because of the highway access, though the noise of the traffic never really stops. Our office is a modest space, mostly filled with boxes and samples of what we handle. We don’t spend much time worrying about the decor or making things look polished. There’s a calendar on the wall that’s usually scribbled over with dates and notes, and a phone that rings more than we’d sometimes like. Most of our day is spent coordinating things, checking on shipments, and making sure the paperwork is in order. It’s a small operation, just a handful of us working together. We’ve all got our own way of doing things, but it seems to mesh well enough. Sometimes things go wrong with a delivery or a supplier is late, and we just have to sit there and sort it out until it’s fixed. It isn't the kind of place where people wear suits. We usually just wear whatever is comfortable for moving boxes or sitting at a desk for a few hours. There’s a small tea shop a few doors down where we go to get out of the office for ten minutes. It’s a practical life, and we don’t try to make it sound like anything else. It's just what we do to get by.
