Nanak And Co

Out here in Mandor, specifically in the Anaj Mandi area of Jodhpur, things move at a certain pace. Nanak And Co is located at 96, F-I-11, right where all the trade happens. Since it's an Anaj Mandi, there is always a lot of dust and the smell of grain in the air. We aren't a fancy showroom or anything like that. It is mostly sacks of stuff and large containers everywhere you look. The sun in Jodhpur can be really harsh, so the shade of the mandi roof is where we spend most of our day. We have been operating from this spot for a while, seeing the seasons change and the different crops coming in. It is mostly work-oriented here, not many people just wandering around for fun. You come here if you have business to do or if you need to stock up on bulk items for your own shop. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but honestly, nobody really notices that kind of stuff when they are busy loading and unloading. We keep a ledger for the accounts and a couple of chairs for anyone who needs to sit down for a minute while we get their order ready. It’s a very practical environment. Sometimes the electricity goes out in the afternoon, but we just carry on with the doors open. It’s a noisy place with the tractors and the shouting of the loaders, but we are used to it by now. It’s just how we do things in Mandor.
