Girl Textile

Girl Textile is located over at Plot No. 38 in the Marudhar Industrial Area. It’s right in Jagdamba Colony, which is a busy spot if you’ve ever been down this way. The area is full of other small factories and workshops, so there is always something going on outside our door. We mostly focus on getting the textiles ready and sent out to wherever they are going next. It’s not a glamorous job, just a lot of manual work and keeping track of the inventory. The walls of our unit are a bit scuffed from moving crates around, but that shows we are actually working. I spend a lot of time just making sure the stacks don’t fall over. The air usually smells like raw fabric and a bit of machine oil. Sometimes the neighbors from the other plots come over to borrow a tool or just to chat for a minute when things are slow. We don't have a big sign or anything, just the address on the gate. It can be hard to find if you aren't looking for Plot 38 specifically. Jagdamba Colony is one of those places where everyone is just trying to get their daily tasks done. We open early because it’s cooler then. By the time the sun is high, we’re already deep into the day’s orders. It’s just a steady rhythm of work every single week.
