Vijendra Textiles

You can find Vijendra Textiles over in the industrial area known as Basni Phase II. Our specific spot is G-622. If you know the M.I.A. area, you know it is mostly factories and warehouses. It’s a dusty part of town because of all the heavy vehicles moving through the lanes all day long. We started here because this is where the action is for textiles. The building is a basic structure, nothing too modern, just a solid place to work. We spend most of our hours handling the cloth and making sure everything is moving along. The sun gets really hot in this part of the world, so we have big fans to keep the air moving inside the unit. It isn't a place for meetings in suits; we wear casual clothes that can handle a bit of dirt and work. Every morning the shutters go up and the work starts. There are several other textile units around us, so the whole street sounds like machines and packing. We usually eat our lunch in a small corner of the shop or go to the local canteen where the other workers gather. It is a loud environment but we are used to it now. We have been at this G-622 address for quite a while. It’s just a regular day-to-day operation where we focus on getting the textiles out to where they need to go.
