Hariom Herbs

We are out at Deora Farms on Manaklow Road in Manai. It’s a bit of a drive from the city, which is fine by us because the air feels a lot better out here. Hariom Herbs isn't some massive factory; it’s mostly just the fields and a few sheds where we keep the dried stuff. The road can be a bit bumpy getting here, especially after it rains, but you get used to it. We spend our mornings walking the rows, looking at the leaves and checking for bugs. The smell is the best part, especially when the sun hits the herbs just right in the afternoon. It gets into your clothes and stays there. We don't have a lot of fancy technology. Mostly, it’s just shovels, some old shears, and a lot of patience. Sometimes the crows get into things they shouldn't, and we have to go out and chase them off. It’s a quiet life, mostly just us and the weather. We don't have a polished website or a big sales office. If you come by, you’ll probably find us near the back shed sorting through the latest harvest. It’s honest work, even if the pay isn't always great and the days are long. We just focus on the soil and the plants and let the rest take care of itself. There is always something to weed or water, so we don't really have time to get bored.
