Maharani Spices

Maharani Spices has been sitting here at Shop No. 113-115 for a good while. We are tucked away near the Clock Tower on Nai Sadak, which is always a busy part of town. If you walk past, you can usually smell the turmeric and chili before you even see the sign. It is a noisy area with all the traffic and people shouting, but we are used to it by now. Inside the shop, we have large metal bins and bags full of different seeds and powders. We spend a lot of time cleaning the stones out of the whole spices and making sure everything stays dry. It gets dusty in here, but that is how spice shops are. My family helps out with the grinding and packing. We don't have a big fancy office, just a small desk in the corner where we keep the books. The floors are a bit worn down from people coming in and out all day. Sometimes the light near the back flickers, but we haven't got around to fixing it yet. People come from all over the city to Nai Sadak for their shopping, and many stop here for their monthly supplies. We try to keep the stock fresh because nobody wants old pepper or stale cardamom. It is a simple life, just measuring out packets and talking to the regulars who have been buying from us since the shop first opened.
