Koselao Agro Producer Company Limited

Our small office is set up at Mangi Lal’s house in Dolatpura, which is part of Sumerpur here in Rajasthan. It’s a practical setup because Mangi Lal is always around and knows everyone in the area. Koselao Agro Producer Company Limited was started because we saw how hard it was for individual farmers to get things done on their own. We aren't a big city company. We’re just neighbors working together. Some days are slow, especially when it’s too hot to be outside, but other days we are running around trying to organize transport or checking on seed supplies. The address is easy to find if you know the village. People just ask for Udaram Meghwal’s son and they’ll point you the right way. We spend a lot of time discussing things under the shade of a tree or in the small front room. It’s about the soil and the crops we grow in this part of Rajasthan. We don’t have a fancy reception desk or anything. It’s mostly just ledgers, some samples of grain, and a lot of talk about the weather. We try to keep things straightforward. If a farmer has a problem, they come by and we see what we can do to help. It’s a community thing more than anything else. We’re just trying to make the work a bit easier for everyone in Dolatpura and the surrounding fields.
