Gendoli Pholai Kisan Producer Company Limited

Our group is based in Gendoli Khurd, which is a small part of Bundi. We use Ramparshad Gaud’s place—he's Mulchand Gaud’s son—as our main point of contact. If you know the area, it’s not hard to find us. We’re just a bunch of farmers who decided that forming a producer company was the right move for our village. The fields around here are our life, so most of what we do involves staying on top of the seasons. It’s not like we have a big staff or a marketing team. It’s just us, the people who live here and work the dirt. We spend a lot of time talking about the Pholai area and how the crops are doing this year compared to the last. Sometimes the weather is on our side and sometimes it really isn't, but that’s just how it goes in agriculture. We don't make big promises or talk about being the biggest in the state. We just want to make sure that the people in Gendoli have a way to sell what they grow without getting a bad deal. It’s a lot of paperwork and running around to different offices, which none of us really like, but it’s necessary. We kept the name simple because that’s who we are. Just local folks in Bundi trying to keep the farming tradition going while making it a bit more modern where it counts.
