We are set up in Jamranva, specifically in the Kandhra Pur area. Manoj Kumar runs things from his place there. It’s a small operation, honestly. We mostly focus on helping the local guys around the village get their produce to the market. Jamranva is a place where everyone knows everyone, so news travels fast by word of mouth. We don't really need a big website or anything like that. People just walk in when they have a question about their crops or if they need some help with the paperwork for the government schemes. The soil here can be tough, and some years are definitely better than others. We’ve had times where the crop was thin and times where we didn't have enough space to store everything. It’s all a bit unpredictable. We try to keep a cool head and just work through the problems as they come up. The building isn't anything special, just a roof over our heads and some space for the bags. We usually spend the evenings drinking chai and talking about the price of fertilizer or the latest weather report on the radio. It’s a practical way to live. We aren't looking to expand into some giant corporation. We just want to make sure the work in Kandhra Pur gets done and the people here can make a living from their fields.
