Arora College

Arora College is tucked away inside Jalori Gate in Jodhpur. If you know the area, you know how busy it gets with all the shops and people moving around. The college is right there in the middle of it all. It is an old part of the city, so the streets are narrow and there is a lot of history in the walls. The building itself has been around for a while and you can see that in the staircases and the way the rooms are shaped. Students come here from different parts of Jodhpur, mostly taking the local buses or bikes. Inside, it is just classrooms and offices where the staff does the paperwork. There is no big campus with grass, just the building where the teaching happens. During the summer, it gets really hot, so the fans are always running at full speed. Sometimes the noise from the market outside comes through the windows, but that is just how it is living near Jalori Gate. You see groups of students standing near the entrance talking before their classes start. It is a practical place for learning without any fancy stuff added to it. Most of the people working here have been around for years and they know the neighborhood well. It is just a local college doing its job every day. The tea stall nearby is where everyone goes during breaks and that is basically our routine.
