Vidhya Bharti

Vidhya Bharti is tucked away in the Mango part of Jamshedpur. We have been here for a long time now. It is a place where kids from the neighborhood come to study together. We do not have a lot of fancy decorations on the walls. It is mostly just charts and maps. We started this because we saw a need for extra help in the evenings. Mango is a crowded area, but our space feels a bit like a break from all that. We do not really do big advertisements or anything like that. Most people find out about us because their neighbor's kid came here last year. We teach the basics. If a student is struggling with a chapter, we sit with them until it clicks. It is a lot of talking and writing on the board. The atmosphere is pretty relaxed. We do not wear uniforms or anything formal. It is just us and the students. Sometimes the power goes out, and we have to open the windows to get some air. That is just life in Jamshedpur. We make it work regardless. We have got a few desks and some old chairs that have seen better days. But they work fine for studying. We just focus on the books and the lessons. It is a simple way to help out the local kids with their schooling. We enjoy the work and the people we meet.
