A.B.M College is right on Pipe Line Road in the Sakchi Gaushala area of Jamshedpur, Jharkhand. If you are from around here, you know how busy this part of town can be. We have been here for a long time, and the building shows its age in a comfortable sort of way. It’s not one of those new malls; it’s a real place of learning with high ceilings and heavy doors. Students are always coming and going through the main entrance. You can hear the sounds of the street and the Gaushala while you are in the rooms, but we are all used to it by now. We offer various courses and the faculty here are just regular people who know their subjects well. We don't go in for fancy marketing or big slogans. We just provide a space for the local youth to get their degrees. The library is a bit cramped but it has what the students need for their exams. On hot days, everyone looks for a spot under the fans. It’s a very local feel here in Jharkhand. We know the shopkeepers nearby and the auto drivers who drop the students off. It’s a part of the Jamshedpur landscape. We just keep the doors open and the classes running as they have been for years. It’s a simple, honest place to get an education for the people living in the 831001 area. It is a good spot for students.
