About Morari Engineering Works – Engineering in Jamnagar
We are over at Plot No. 391/b in Gidc - 1. It’s a busy spot in Shankar Tekri, Jamnagar. If you come by, you’ll hear the machines long before you see the door. The floor is mostly covered in metal shavings and oil, which is pretty much how an engineering shop should look if people are actually working. My hands are usually stained black by noon. We don’t have a fancy reception area or anyone in a suit to greet you. It’s just us and the tools. The heat in Udyognagar gets pretty intense during the summer months, so we keep the fans running full blast, though they mostly just move the hot air around. We’ve been here for a good while now. People in the area know us as the place that just stays busy. We handle a lot of different jobs, mostly whatever comes through the gate. It’s not about being the biggest shop in Jamnagar, just about staying consistent. The tea guy comes around twice a day, and that’s usually when we take a break. Otherwise, it’s just the sound of lathes and welding. We don’t spend much on decorations because the machines take up all the space. It’s a practical setup for practical work. We’ve seen the neighborhood change over the years, but Plot 391/b stays pretty much the same. Just a bunch of guys doing engineering work every day. It is not always easy, but it is what we know how to do best.
