Dodia Machines

Dodia Machines is situated at Plot No 42/43 in the Shreeji Industrial Estate over in Hapa. Being in an industrial estate means it’s a noisy and dusty environment, but that’s where the real work happens. We have a fairly large space here to keep our machines and the parts we use for repairs and assembly. Most of the day is spent with the sound of metal hitting metal or the hum of engines in the background. It’s not a place for clean clothes; we usually end up with grease or oil on us by lunchtime. We work on various types of machinery and there is always something that needs fixing or a part that needs to be fabricated. The heat in Hapa can be quite intense during the summer months, especially inside a shed with metal roofing, but we just keep the fans going and get on with it. We have a small office area tucked away in one corner where we keep the invoices and the phone, but we spend most of our time out on the floor. It’s hard work and it can be physically tiring, but there’s a certain satisfaction in seeing a machine work properly after you’ve spent hours on it. We aren't looking to be the biggest company out there, just to do the work that comes our way.
