People in Jamnagar know where we are, right near Limda Line in Rajputpara. It is a busy spot but we have been here at number 65 for a long time. The school building has seen many batches of students come and go over the years. We start early in the morning, and you can hear the kids shouting in the hallways before the first bell rings. It’s not a fancy place with high-tech gadgets in every corner, just a regular school where teachers try their best to get through the syllabus. The classrooms have wooden desks that have been scratched by many pens. Sometimes the fans make a bit of noise, but we just get on with the lessons. We have kids from all over this part of town. Some walk here and others come on cycles. In the afternoons, when school lets out, the whole street gets crowded with parents waiting. It’s a bit chaotic then, but that is just how it is. We spend a lot of time doing paperwork in the office and making sure the registers are updated. There is always a stack of books waiting to be checked on the teachers' tables. We don't have a huge playground, but the students find enough space to run around during the break. It is just a place for learning and growing up without any extra fuss or glittery promises.
