Alumni Association-D.G.T College Aliyabada

People always ask what we do here in Aliyabada. It is mostly about staying in touch with the old crowd from D.G.T. College. Jamnagar is a big place, but our little corner here in 361110 keeps us connected. We started this association because we didn’t want to lose track of everyone after graduation. It’s funny how time goes by so fast. One day you’re sitting in the back of a classroom, and the next, you’re trying to organize a reunion dinner. We spend a lot of time just talking to former students. Some of them moved away to big cities, but many stayed right here in Gujarat. Our office isn't much to look at, just a desk and some old files, but it’s where we get the work done. We keep records of who went where and what they are doing now. Sometimes someone stops by just to see if their old roommate left an address. It feels good to help people find each other again. The college has changed a bit over the years, new paint here and there, but the spirit is still the same. We don’t have a big fancy team, just a few of us who care about the history of the place. It gets hot in the afternoons, so we usually get most of our work done in the morning. If you ever went to school here, you know where to find us. We are just here keeping the memories alive.
