Bhakti Shaixanik Sankul

We've been here in Amran for a while now. Bhakti Shaixanik Sankul sits right at number 34, a spot most people in the taluka know well enough. It’s not a fancy place with glass walls or anything like that. Just a sturdy building where kids from all over the Jodiya area come every morning. You’ll see them walking down the road around 7:30 or 8:00, some looking sleepy and others ready to run. We try to keep things moving along. There’s always a bit of dust because that’s just how it is around Jamnagar. The classrooms have fans that hum, and sometimes they squeak, but they do the job when it gets hot in the afternoons. Our teachers live nearby mostly. They walk in just like the students do. We spend a lot of time just making sure the kids have their books and the benches are straight. It’s a lot of work keeping a school running in a small place like this, but we’re used to it. The bell rings, the kids shout, and then things get quiet for a few hours while they work. We don't have a big office with people in suits. Usually, you’ll just find someone near the front gate or in the small office room. It’s practical. We deal with the rainy days and the heat waves just like everyone else in the village. That's about it really. Just a local school in Amran.
