Dinesh Traders

Dinesh Traders is located at Plot No: 66, right near the Ambika Weigh Bridge in Hapa. Being near the weigh bridge means we see a lot of heavy traffic all day long. The noise of the trucks is something you just get used to after a week or two. I set up this trading business because this area is the heart of the trade here. We have a decent amount of space on the plot to keep our materials. It’s mostly open-air, so we have to be careful with the tarps when the monsoon starts. I spend most of my time outside checking the loads. It’s dirty work and my clothes are usually dusty by noon. We don’t have a fancy office, just a small cabin with a fan and a couple of chairs for visitors. Most of our business comes from people who have been dealing with us for years. They know where we are. We don't have a website or anything like that; we just use the phone and word of mouth. Sometimes the power goes out and we just sit outside and wait for it to come back. My brother handles the logistics side of things, making sure the trucks are actually going where they are supposed to. It’s a lot of coordination and sometimes things go wrong, but we just fix it and move on to the next day.
