Vkc Nuts is located out in the Birpur Industrial Estate in Bari Brahmana. Our unit is 52 B, and it’s a pretty standard industrial shed like the others around here. Being in Bari Brahmana means we’re a bit away from the main city hub, which is actually better for the trucks coming in. We spend our days dealing with various types of nuts, sorting them and making sure the quality is what it should be. The machinery makes a constant hum in the background, which you eventually stop noticing after a few hours. We aren't a big fancy corporation; we're just a group of people working in a warehouse. The floor is usually covered in bags and crates, and there’s always someone moving something with a pallet jack. It’s physical work and can get pretty tiring by the end of the week. We drink a lot of tea in the breakroom to keep ourselves going. Sometimes the power goes out, and we have to wait for the generator to kick in, which is just part of life in an industrial estate. We don’t have a marketing department or anything like that. We just do our work, talk to our regular buyers, and go home. It’s a simple operation, and we like keeping it that way. Everyone knows their job and we just try to get through the daily shipments without any big mistakes.
