E-Trade Associates

Started at Malhotra Street-30 a long time ago. The office isn't much to look at, just some desks and a lot of filing cabinets that don't quite shut right. We handle trading stuff, mostly coordinating between suppliers and buyers who need things moved from one place to another. It gets pretty loud during the day because the street outside is always busy with carts and people shouting. We don't have a big fancy lobby or anything, just a couple of chairs for whoever drops in to sign some papers. Most of our day is spent on the phone or checking lists on the computer. Sometimes the electricity goes out for a bit and we just sit there talking until it comes back on. It’s a small team here. We know each other's coffee orders by heart now. We aren't doing anything world-changing, just making sure the orders go out and the bills get paid. Malhotra Street has changed a lot since we moved in, but our office feels basically the same as it did ten years ago. We have a small window that looks out over the alley, but there isn't much of a view. It’s just how things are around here. We keep our heads down and do the work that needs doing. Sometimes it's boring, but it pays the bills and we like the people we deal with. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a fancy address, just trying to keep things moving as they should.
