Snatan Fabricators

Snatan Fabricators is located over on the Trikuta Channi Link Road in Jammu. We are right near the railway fatak, so we hear the trains passing by all the time. The sound of the gates going down is just part of our day. Our shop is usually pretty noisy anyway with all the cutting and metalwork going on. There’s a lot of iron and steel lying around the floor, and it can get a bit messy when we are in the middle of a job. We don’t have a fancy showroom or anything like that. It’s just a practical workspace where we get things done. The air usually smells a bit like burnt metal and grease, which is normal for a place like this. We have a few heavy machines that have been with us for years and they still run okay. Sometimes the dust from the link road blows in when the wind is high, so everything gets a layer of grit on it. We just wipe it off and keep moving. It's a hardworking environment and we aren't really the type to sit around much. Most of our day is spent standing up or moving heavy pieces around the shop floor. People find us because they need something built or fixed and they know we are near the tracks. It’s just a local shop doing its thing every day. When the trains go by, everything shakes just a little bit, but we are used to it by now.
