Varun Granimarmo

Varun Granimarmo is based in the Githala Complex on Bagra Road. It’s a pretty straightforward place to find once you’re on the main road. We’ve been here for a while, and the complex has seen a lot of businesses come and go. Our unit is mostly filled with stone samples and some heavy equipment. There’s usually a bit of dust in the air because of the nature of the materials we handle. We don’t have a big fancy entrance. You just walk in and you’ll see us working. It’s often just a couple of us moving pieces around or checking the quality of a new batch. We don’t use a lot of big words or try to act like we’re a huge company. We’re just local people who know a thing or two about granite and marble. The office area is small and mostly used for drinking tea and writing down orders. We don’t have a website with lots of photos; we’d rather you just come and see the stone yourself. Bagra Road gets busy during the middle of the day, so we try to get our deliveries out early. It’s hard work and our hands are usually rough, but it’s what we do. We just want to provide what people need without any unnecessary complications or fluff. The stone comes in from different places, and every batch looks a little different. That's the thing with natural stuff. We spend a lot of time just looking over the slabs to see what's what. It’s a bit of a slow process, but we don't like to rush.
