Shakambhari Granite & Marble

You can find us at Shakambhari Granite & Marble, right over by Mohan Ji Ki Pyau. It is a landmark everyone around here knows, so we are easy to spot. We have a mix of marble and granite sitting out front and in the back. The yard is usually full of slabs that we have brought in from the quarries. Some days the dust is thick, and other days it is just the heat we have to worry about. We don't have any polished sales floor; it is just us and the stone. We spend a lot of time moving things around with the crane to make sure we can reach what people want to see. It is hard work on the back, but we like being around the material. People stop by all the time asking about different patterns or how thick a piece is. We just tell them what we know. There is no script here, just honest talk about what is on the lot. Sometimes the delivery trucks get stuck in traffic, which throws our schedule off, but we manage. We have been at this location long enough that the stone has become part of the landscape. We keep the coffee going in the small office for when people want to sit for a minute. It is a simple life, focused on the slabs and the people who need them for their projects.
