Stuti Granimarmo

You’ll find Stuti Granimarmo over at Plot No. 9 in the Fateh Industrial Area. It’s a busy little corner where we spend our days surrounded by granite and marble slabs. We called it Granimarmo because that’s exactly what we have—a bit of both. The plot isn't the biggest in the area, but we’ve learned how to stack the stone so we can fit a lot of variety in there. It’s a lot of physical work, moving those slabs around with the pulleys and making sure nothing gets chipped. The Fateh area is always humming with the sound of other businesses, so it never really gets quiet until late in the evening. We aren't interested in sounding like a big corporation; we are just a local crew doing our job. We get a lot of dust on our clothes and calluses on our hands, but that’s just the nature of the stone business. Most of our customers are folks from nearby who are building something and need a few good pieces. We just walk them through the rows and let the stone speak for itself. Sometimes we sit out front on some plastic chairs during the afternoon break and just watch the traffic in the industrial area. It’s a steady life at Plot No. 9, and we just keep at it day after day, making sure the inventory stays in good shape for whoever needs it. It's just simple work.
