Shree Shiv Granites

We are located over at No. 3 in the Phase, inside the industrial area. It’s a bit of a trek if you aren't used to this side of town, but it’s where all the heavy work happens. Dealing with granite means things are always heavy and there’s usually a bit of stone dust in the air. We don’t mind it much. We’ve got our setup here and it works for us. The yard is usually full of slabs and pieces waiting to go out to different sites. It isn't a showroom with bright lights and air conditioning. It’s more of a working yard where you can see the actual stone as it comes in from the suppliers. My brother and I started helping out here years ago and now we just run the daily operations ourselves. We get a lot of trucks coming through the gates every morning. The guys who work here have been with us for a long time. We know each other’s families and how we like to get things done. It’s not a complicated business. You look at the stone, you see if it fits what’s needed, and we move it. Some days are longer than others, especially when a big shipment arrives. We don’t do much advertising. People usually find us because someone told them we were here in the industrial area. It’s a quiet life, mostly, just the sound of the cutters and the cranes working.
