Brahma Granitech

Brahma Granitech is over here at N-9 Shivaji Nagar. It’s a busy spot most of the time. We spend the morning moving granite pieces around the shop floor. It gets pretty loud when the water is running and the saws are going. You can’t really avoid the mess when you work with stone like this. We have a small crew and we all know each other well. Someone usually brings lunch from home and we eat it in the corner. People stop by Shivaji Nagar looking for something specific for their kitchens or bathrooms. We don’t have any slick sales guys. If you walk in you’ll probably just see us in our work boots. We show people what’s sitting in the racks. Some of the granite is dark and some is light and you just have to look at it yourself. Sometimes the delivery truck gets stuck in the narrow street and we have to help guide it in. It’s just how things go here. We don't spend money on big signs or anything. The address is easy enough to find if you’re in the neighborhood. We just keep our heads down and get the cutting done. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday. If the power goes out we just sit and wait for it to come back. That's life at the shop.
