Our business is located at Plot No G-104 in the 3rd Phase of the industrial area. It’s a standard industrial plot where we do all our granite processing. The area is full of other factories and workshops, so there is always the constant sound of machinery and trucks moving around the streets. We have a lot of raw granite blocks sitting out in the front lot. Inside the shed, the water is constantly running over the saws to keep the stone from overheating while it’s being cut. This makes the whole place feel a bit damp and humid most of the time, especially in the summer. We spend our days checking the slabs for any flaws or strange patterns. Every piece of stone is different, so you never really know what you are going to get until you slice it open. We have a small crew of workers and we’ve been working together in this same spot for quite many years. We aren't interested in making the place look fancy or having a nice office; we just want the machines to keep running smoothly every day. There is a lot of heavy lifting involved, and we all have to look out for each other when the crane is moving things around. We take our lunch breaks together and talk about the local news. It is a simple life of working with stone and we are used to it. We just focus on getting the slabs cut so they are ready.
